Job summary

CAC I International Inc seeks a Vulnerability Research and Exploit Developer (VRED) to support DoD and IA/IC requirements at our Fort Meade facility. You will conduct vulnerability research and exploit development for mobile and network devices while collaborating with JCOG.

Requires TS/SCI with polygraph, a Bachelor’s in CS/Cybersecurity/Engineering or related field and 5+ years of experience. Strong programming (C/C++, Python, ARM/x86), reverse engineering, and toolset knowledge are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth vulnerability research and exploit development for mobile and network devices.
• Identify and analyze security weaknesses in complex systems, providing actionable insights and solutions.
• Apply AI models and AI-assisted workflows to accelerate vulnerability discovery and exploit development.
• Collaborate with interagency partners and JCOG personnel to support mission objectives.
• Develop and maintain tools/scripts for automated vulnerability detection and exploitation.
• Ensure integration of developed solutions into existing systems without disrupting operations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
• Maintain detailed documentation of research findings and processes.
• Stay current with cybersecurity/VR/exploit development.
