Job description

Major Accountabilities

Master Data – Set up and perform complex local and global master data set-up, establish processes, guidelines, business matrix and SLA timelines in a GxP environment, adhering to Novartis compliance. Be Subject Matter Expert in the assigned area of work. Support data collection and reporting of KPIs and logistics. Responsible for ensuring all logistic processes proceed in a timely, high‑quality, efficient and effective manner, fully compliant with laws, supply‑chain management policies and procedures. Identify and drive continuous improvement projects and ensure material availability in line with the approved production plan.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure daily MRP oversight for all BOM material, analyse requirements and manage Purchase Orders.
  • Own MRP relevant data and material technical specifications in the ERP system and ensure no Purchase Orders are passed as due in the ERP system.
  • Manage purchased‑item complaints/returns to supplier.
  • Provide a load‑balanced dispatch list for incoming materials to the warehouse and Quality department, ensuring activities align with production needs.
  • Control and follow‑up supplier service‑level indicators (Quality OTIF, lead‑time violations).
  • Lead action plans to achieve supplier delivery performance targets and drive continuous improvement.
  • Report technical complaints, adverse events or special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24hours of receipt.
  • Distribute marketing samples where applicable.
  • Give guidance and system support for returns, rebates and credit/debit notes.
  • Define and decide priorities for physical deliveries in collaboration with other functions (e.g., LEX) for third‑party customers and cross‑divisional supplies.
  • Act as SPOC for escalation issues for assigned customers.
  • Influence and connect relevant stakeholders to speed up system issue resolution.
  • Ensure daily MRP exception messages are managed and appropriately followed up (Material Planner).
Key Performance Indicators
  • Inventory Management, Gap Analysis, Cost Efficiency and efficiency of supply processes.
  • Standard Master Data KPIs (e.g., completeness, consistency and accuracy).
  • On‑time, In‑full delivery of the business basics – budgets, quality compliance, etc.
  • Customer Service Level (e.g., OTIF).
Work Experience

2–3 years of experience in Operations Management, Execution Project Management and collaborating across boundaries. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics365 (D365) preferred.
