Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an Expert SAR Imagery Scientist to join a mission-focused team developing and testing advanced imaging radar techniques. You will tackle unusually complex problems, shape R&D programs, and mentor staff while operating with significant autonomy.

Required are 15+ years in SAR/remote sensing, plus 4+ years leading SAR teams; TS/SCI clearance and a STEM degree. Experience with IDL/MATLAB, APIs, Google Earth Engine, ArcGIS, and Tableau is a plus.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in SAR, remote sensing, image processing, or image science.
  • 4+ years of experience with SAR, including leading teams.
  • Experience with imaging radar analysis techniques using advanced image and signal processing tools.
  • Knowledge of image processing, radar imagery analysis, and radar physics/phenomenology.
  • Knowledge of sensor design principles and their relation to performance.
  • Knowledge of imagery ordering tools, electronic light tables, and products.
  • Knowledge of US IC imagery collection, exploitation, and GEOINT roles.
  • Knowledge of overhead intelligence collection systems.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
  • Bachelor's degree and 15+ years with SAR, or 20+ years with SAR in lieu of a degree.

You Have:
