Job summary

Prescient Edge seeks an expert Program Manager to lead complex, government-funded programs at HQ USSOCOM. The role requires extensive leadership experience, a PMP or equivalent, and active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly potential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interface with senior customer organizations to formulate and review plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with schedules, costs, and contracts.
• Review technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to management and customers.
• Keep customer and contractor management informed of issues, risks, and accomplishments.
• Gather customer requirements, hold technical exchange meetings, and provide status reporting and stakeholder briefings.
• Ensure seamless integration across all Task Order functions.
• Serve as primary contact for customer escalations and negotiate plan adjustments.
• Compile, review, and present monthly status reports to customer leadership.
• Analyze cost, schedule, and performance data to identify variances and develop corrective action plans.
• Ensure activities align with national-level objectives and provide budget updates to leadership.
• Provide administrative oversight to personnel and ensure contractor travel requests are funded.

Description:

• Program Manager shall maintain interface with senior levels of customer organizations and consult with customers to formulate and review plans and deliverables, ensuring conformity with program and project task schedules, costs, and contractual obligations.
• Program Manager shall review technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to management and customers.
• Program Manager shall keep both customer and contractor management abreast of issues, risks, and accomplishments.
• Shall gather customer requirements, hold technical exchange meetings, and provide status reporting on all activities while conducting stakeholder briefings.
• Should perform tasks such as:
  1. Ensures seamless integration across all functions of Task Order.
  2. Acts as the primary point of contact for customer escalations and consult with them to negotiate adjustments to plans, costs, or schedules.
  3. Compiles, reviews, and presents the monthly status report to customer leadership.
  4. Analyzes cost, schedule, and performance data from technical reports to identify variances and develop formal corrective action plans.
  5. Ensures all activities and deliverables align with JTF-SREC priorities and national-level objectives.
  6. Provides financial and budget execution updates to SREC leadership.
  7. Provides administrative oversight to all personnel on this Task Order.
  8. Ensure contractor travel requests are adequately processed and funded.

Desired experience:

• Minimum of 20 Years of experience in discipline with at least 12 years supporting SOF or Interagency units:
  1. Providing leadership or management services within USSOCOM enterprise.
  2. Supervising and training subordinates.
  3. Executing projects on schedule and within budget.
  4. Addressing emerging project requirements.
  5. Exhibiting workforce recruitment, hiring, and retention.
• Active Project Management Professional certification or equivalent.

Education:

• Master's degree in business management or closely related discipline.

Security clearance:

• Active TS/SCI and with the ability to obtain a CI Poly if needed.

Location:

• HQ USSOCOM, MacDill AFB, FL.
