Qualifications

The Expert Equipment & Warehouse is responsible for ensuring the project schedules and delivery of equipment, material, and components are on track. The Expert Equipment & Warehouse is also responsible for monitoring and leading the logistics activities by tracking the delivery of all project orders to their designated delivery points.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities
  • Supports material management, logistics, procurement and expediting activities in close collaboration with the Materials Management, Project Buyers, Construction Managers, and Project Managers to oversee partnering project 3PL (third-party logistics) in receiving, inventory, maintaining and issuing equipment and materials in support of multiple projects and schedules to ensure projects are completed on time
  • Aides in monitoring the progress of components, equipment and material purchase orders from shipment to delivery at the designated receiving locations.
  • Reviews supplier production schedules, monitor supplier workload and status of sub-orders
  • Participates in routine procurement buyer calls and follows shipments.
  • Assist in managing 3rd Party Logistics contractors in daily warehouse functions
  • Manages inventory at project sites, warehouses or at integrator facilities
  • Updates material status logs and databases.
  • Collaborates with onsite management for all deliveries and OS&Ds
  • Oversees implementation of warehousing, distribution, inventory management, or related strategies
  • Implements changes meant to improve efficiency and reduce costs associated with warehouse management
  • Manages and assists with optimizing spatial utilization
  • Other duties as assigned

  • WMS systems experience
  • OSHA10 required
  • OSHA30 preferred
  • 4+ years of experience
  • Knowledge in supply chain and logistics preferred
  • Experience working on construction projects (preferably Semi and/or pharmaceutical type projects) preferred
  • Must have excellent computer skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft suite
  • Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication
  • Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent customer service and client relations skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Good collaboration and teamwork abilities
