This position requires a candidate with strong mapping expertise to support risk mitigation, governance implementation, and strategic visioning for the GIS asset registry. The successful candidate will partner cross-functionally with stakeholders, business process owners, and technical teams to identify asset registry risks, develop sustainable solutions, and implement governance practices that improve data quality, consistency, and operational reliability. While the substation asset registry will be the primary focus, experience supporting other mapping disciplines— including transmission and distribution is a plus, as this role may support broader electric asset registry and mapping needs as business priorities evolve. This position will play a key role in advancing the organization toward its long-term vision for a trusted, governed, and strategically aligned asset registry.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of thejob posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will bebased on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience,market value, geographic location, and internal equity.Alalthough we estimatethe successful candidate hiredinto this rolewill be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decisionwill be made on a case-by-casebasis related tothese factors.
A reasonable salary range is:
Bay Area Minimum: $122,000
Bay Area Maximum: $194,000
