UPMC Mercy is seeking a full-time Professional Staff Nurse, Expert, BSN for the 7E Spinal Cord Injury Rehab unit. The Expert level requires 4+ years of nursing experience; graduate nurses may apply and be placed on the career ladder.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of nursing experience for Expert level.
• BSN preferred.
• Certification required within 1 year of hire/transfer (if BSN held, Master’s may substitute).

• Precepts students, graduates, and new hires.
• Assess and plan patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure quality care.
• Support ongoing clinical learning and journal clubs on the unit.
