Job summary

Wiz, based in New York, seeks an experienced Backend Engineer to power a multi-cloud, distributed platform. You will build and maintain large-scale components in Golang, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Docker and Kubernetes, solving scaling challenges and delivering clean, maintainable code.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of experience with Backend Engineering in a high-level programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Golang).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices based architecture.
• Experience with databases and message queue technologies.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
• Familiarity or experience with Golang, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Neptune, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Compensation + Benefits

Compensation for this full-time position includes base salary + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
