Job summary

MONO is seeking a Creative Technologist to bridge imagination and execution, prototyping experiential activations and exploring generative AI tools. The role sits at the intersection of design and development, coordinating with creative teams and production to turn ideas into working demos.

This locally-based, hybrid position requires relocation within the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, with on-site days to foster collaboration and client-ready pitches. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in creative technology, workflow automation, or AI/ML tools, preferably in an agency setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, generative AI models, and their practical applications within creative workflows.
• Proficiency with various IDEs, Git repositories, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Broad technology knowledge, from cloud hosting to AI tools and the Stagwell ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Rapid Prototyping & Pitch Support: Build functional mockups, proofs-of-concept, and interactive demos to validate ideas before client presentations or production.
• Creative Collaboration & Thought Leadership: Partner with Art Directors, Designers, Copywriters, Strategists and Accounts to translate campaign visions into tangible experiences and share new tools and trends.
• Technical Feasibility & Integration: Assess concepts for feasibility and connect frontends with APIs, data streams, and AI models to build dynamic experiences.
• Production Oversight & QA: Package prototypes, document logic, and write specs for production and oversee external builds to preserve creative intent.
