MGM Resorts International in Springfield, MA is seeking a Special Events Marketing Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of live events and promotions within the Special Events team.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years of event planning experience, a high school diploma, and excellent customer service with strong organizational skills. The role requires a full-time schedule, including weekends and holidays, and offers benefits and a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in events.
• Experience in Special Events or related field.
• Willing to work full-time, 40-hour week; weekends/holidays required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong multi-tasking and team work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills under deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Support planning, coordination and execution of events with departments.
• Create guest letters, memos and promotional materials.
• Manage vendor and entertainment relationships to meet event needs.
• Develop event rules with Compliance, Legal and Marketing.
• Prepare gifts for events and presentations.
• Process vendor payments and create requisitions for approvals.
• Attend events as primary on-site contact for issues.
