Job summary

Octagon in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Experiential Director (Events) to plan and execute world-class experiential marketing programs. The role leads production, fabrication, and onsite delivery across a diverse portfolio, coordinating with clients, creatives, and vendors to bring ideas to life.

The position requires 6–10 years in event production, strong leadership, and the ability to manage budgets, staffing, and travel. Hybrid work with three days onsite is encouraged in Cary or Charlotte.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of work experience in event production or experiential marketing.
• Proven leadership and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to travel domestically and work non-traditional hours.
• Strong vendor relationships and on-site execution expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead producer on programs in collaboration with the Events Team.
• Coordinate with creative, client services, and vendors for production.
• Manage budgets, staffing, logistics, and on-site delivery.
• Oversee on-site staff and partners at events.
• Develop scalable production processes and standards.
• Travel as required to support events.
