Dimensional Innovations seeks a Design Engineer II to translate design concepts into buildable solutions for experiential projects. You’ll collaborate with Designers, Engineers, and Production to bring ideas to life through detailed, fabrication‑ready documentation and model-based workflows.

The role sits between Industrial Design and Mechanical Engineering, requiring hands‑on fabrication awareness and strong communication. Onsite, employee‑owned culture supports collaborative problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience (internships or project work included).
• Proficient with SolidWorks for top‑down or in‑context modeling.
• Proficient with Adobe Illustrator; familiarity with the Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks.
• Assist in translating design intent into fabrication‑ready documentation.
• Collaborate with Design, Project Management, and Production teams.
• Learn and apply fabrication methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Support project teams in solving technical challenges during design and production.
• Maintain accuracy, quality, and consistency across deliverables.
