Job summary

Forest Home seeks an Experiences Coordinator to lead and mentor GO Year students, shaping vocational experiences and off-site trips across a 12-month program. You will work with the GO Year Director to plan, communicate, and execute experiences while fostering spiritual growth and community engagement for a cohort of 40 students.

Qualifications

• Experience mentoring college-aged students (18–22).
• Proven ability to collaborate across teams and lead when needed.
• Comfort with shared leadership dynamics and conflict resolution.
• Experience living in or exposure to a college dorm-style environment.
• Must obtain Food Handlers Card from San Bernardino County (Forest Home provides training).

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute off-site experiences with The GO Year Director and Admissions Coordinator.
• Coordinate logistics: vehicle prep, supplies, checklists, itineraries, communications.
• Provide day-to-day mentorship and discipleship to GO Year students.
• Lead weekly one-on-one meetings with assigned students and conduct group devotionals.
• Monitor well-being and submit weekly health reports to the GO Year Director.
• Maintain daily Bible study pace aligned with student reading plan.
• Engage in recruiting efforts and assist with vendor/partner communications.
• Other duties as assigned.
