Rock Pros USA is hiring an experienced Wheel Loader Operator for our Silver Bell quarry in Avra Valley, Arizona. You will be responsible for operating large wheel loaders across feed, stockpile, shipping, and mining tasks, while upholding safety and production standards.

This hands-on role requires teamwork, physical effort, and a strong focus on safety, with opportunities to assist with maintenance and plant operations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Feed Loader: safely feed rock and material into crushers, hoppers, and processing equipment; maintain production flow.
• Stockpile Loader: build, maintain, organize, and manage material stockpiles; prevent contamination; maintain safe conditions.
• Shipping Loader: load customer and company trucks; verify material types; communicate with drivers and shipping personnel.
• Mining Loader: load raw material; manage material movement; support mining/production operations.
• Operate large wheel loaders safely and efficiently in an active quarry environment.
• Perform pre-operation inspections; monitor equipment conditions; report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Assist with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs within training.
• Maintain safe travel routes, loading areas, stockpiles, and work zones.
• Communicate with foremen, haul truck drivers, mechanics, and crew members.
• Support daily production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Assist with general quarry operations, housekeeping, and plant maintenance as needed.

Rock Pros USA is hiring an experienced Wheel Loader Operator for our Silver Bell quarry in Avra Valley, Arizona. We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused operator who can efficiently operate heavy equipment in an active surface mining and rock crushing environment.

This position involves a combination of Feed Loader, Stockpile Loader, Shipping Loader, and Mining Loader responsibilities. Assignments may vary based on daily production needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Feed Loader: Safely feed rock and material into crushers, hoppers, and processing equipment while maintaining consistent production flow.
• Stockpile Loader: Build, maintain, organize, and manage material stockpiles while preventing contamination and maintaining safe operating conditions.
• Shipping Loader: Load customer and company trucks accurately and efficiently, verify material types, and communicate with drivers and shipping personnel.
• Mining Loader: Load raw material, manage material movement within the quarry, and support mining and production operations.
• Operate large wheel loaders safely and efficiently in an active quarry environment.
• Perform pre-operation inspections, monitor equipment conditions, and report maintenance or safety concerns.

This Is a Hands-On Position

At Rock Pros USA, operators are part of the entire quarry crew. This is not a stay-in-the-cab position. All operators must be willing to get out of their equipment and help with tasks such as shoveling, clearing material buildup, assisting with crusher or screen maintenance, and supporting other plant operations when needed.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience operating large wheel loaders or front-end loaders in a quarry, mine, aggregate, or similar heavy industrial environment.
• Ability to safely load trucks, manage stockpiles, and handle material around crushing and screening equipment.
• Strong understanding of equipment inspections, safe operating practices, and basic maintenance.
• Ability to recognize equipment problems and communicate maintenance needs.
• Dependable attendance, good communication, and a team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to perform physical labor and assist with duties outside equipment operation.
• Ability to work outdoors in Arizona weather, around dust, noise, uneven terrain, and moving heavy equipment.
• Ability to follow company safety procedures and complete required MSHA training.

Experience with multiple types of heavy equipment, basic mechanical repairs, and training other operators is a plus.

• Experience operating large wheel loaders/front-end loaders.

• Ability to complete required MSHA training and comply with site safety requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous mining, quarry, aggregate, or rock crushing experience.
• Experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment.
• Basic mechanical and equipment troubleshooting skills.
• Experience mentoring or training less-experienced operators.
