Job summary

GEON Performance Solutions in Dyersburg, TN is seeking an Experienced Warehouse Associate to support packing, order pulling, receiving and shipping, and to maintain accurate records.

This role requires forklift operation, adherence to safety policies, and ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift (3PM-11PM or 11PM-7AM). Previous warehouse experience and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift Operator's license preferred.
• Previous warehouse/shipping/receiving experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Unloads goods and material received, enters information into system, labels and locates material.
• Separates customer orders, pulls and stages orders, repacks material as needed for specifications.
• Ensures all products are properly labeled; may perform receiving/shipping transactions in the designated system.
• May participate in cycle counting and verifications of information.
• Follows safety rules, maintains housekeeping, and operates forklift/track mobile.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Shift: 2nd (3PM-11PM) or 3rd (11PM-7AM)

SUMMARY: Position is responsible for a variety of warehouse duties including packing, pulling/checking customer orders, replenishment, supply of material to production lines, shipping and receiving materials and material handling and completing all required paperwork in accordance to company policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Unloads goods and material received, enters appropriate information into system, labels and locates material.

Separates customer orders. Pulls and stages orders. Repacks material if required to meet customer specifications.

Ensures all products are properly labeled.

May perform functions/transactions in designated system to receive or ship material.

May participate in cycle counting. Enters and verifies information.

Follows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.

Drives fork lifts and or track mobiles.

Other duties as assigned.

Conditions:

Work in plant floor environment. Temperature conditions can vary significantly. Work 8 hour shifts. Must stand/walk most of the work time and/or sit/drive fork lift. Job duties range from manual labor, to troubleshooting, and use of computerized equipment. Use of heavy motorized equipment including but not limited to fork trucks and/or track mobile. Must be able to work on elevated surfaces and not fear heights.
