Countryside Veterinary Service LLC in Oregon is seeking a dedicated veterinary technician/assistant to join our privately owned practice.

The role includes assisting in surgery, monitoring patients, supporting doctors, taking radiographs, performing dental cleanings and in-house tests, and educating clients. We offer four-day weeks with three-day weekends and a full-time position with benefits after probation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary setting.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• This is a drug-free workplace and pre-employment drug testing is required.

Work Schedule and Duties

We are open four days a week, offering flexible employee schedules with three-day weekends. Your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting in surgery

• Taking radiographs
• Conducting dental cleanings and dental radiographs
• Operating in-house laboratory equipment and performing tests
• Placing catheters
• Providing inpatient and outpatient care
• Educating clients

Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Technician or Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Veterinary setting. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Additional Information

• We are a drug-free workplace, and pre-employment drug testing is required. This includes Marijuana.
