Job summary

Countryside Veterinary Service LLC in Oregon is seeking a veterinary technician or assistant to join our growing private practice. You will assist in surgeries, monitor patients, and support doctors while taking radiographs and performing dental cleanings.

We operate four days a week with three-day weekends. A minimum of 2 years’ experience is required and a high school diploma or GED is necessary. We offer healthcare options, pet discounts, and a retirement plan.

Work Schedule and Duties

We are open four days a week, offering flexible employee schedules with three-day weekends. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting in surgery
  • Monitoring patients
  • Supporting doctors
  • Taking radiographs
  • Conducting dental cleanings and dental radiographs
  • Operating in-house laboratory equipment and performing tests
  • Placing catheters
  • Providing inpatient and outpatient care
  • Educating clients
Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Technician or Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Veterinary setting. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Additional Information
  • We are a drug-free workplace, and pre-employment drug testing is required. This includes Marijuana.
