We are seeking an Experienced Veterinary Technician who is confident in both general practice and surgical settings. As an experienced veterinary technician, you will play an essential role in our daily operations. We are looking for someone with strong clinical and surgical skills, including:

• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Strong knowledge of preventative care, vaccines, and routine patient care
• Surgical preparation, including patient clipping, aseptic preparation, and positioning
• Anesthesia induction and monitoring, including accurate assessment and documentation of vital parameters
• Surgical monitoring and anesthesia support throughout procedures
• IV catheter placement and fluid therapy
• Blood draws, sample collection, and in-house laboratory diagnostics
• Radiograph positioning and diagnostic imaging
• Medication preparation and administration
• Recognition of changes in patient status and the ability to respond appropriately in emergency situations
• Maintaining accurate, concise medical records and documenting patient care and client interactions
• Professional, compassionate communication with clients, doctors, and fellow team members
