Prismhr Hire is seeking a reliable veterinary technician for a small, close-knit animal hospital in the East Valley area. The candidate will join a team that prioritizes relationships, patient care, and collaborative decision-making.

Responsibilities include client education, obtaining vital signs, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and radiograph positioning in a supportive, non-micromanaged setting. Schedule favors a 4-day week with no night shifts.

Qualifications

• 1 year veterinary technician experience required.
• Candidate demonstrates strong client communication skills.
• Ability to obtain vital parameters and perform venipuncture.
• Knowledge of restraint and radiography techniques.

Responsibilities

• Educate clients about treatment plans and care.

self motivated, honest, skilled, always-curious, veterinary technician. We put a lot of trust in and rely

The ideal candidate must be:

• Relational, not just skilled (although both are important).
• A team player who loves living in community with others (no lone rangers, please).
• Articulate and able to share what they are feeling and experiencing.
• Enjoys educating clients and feels quite comfortable going over treatment plans with clients.
• Assessing patient stability - obtaining vital parameters, venipuncture, IV catheter placement are a must.
• Proper and humane restraint techniques and radiograph positioning and exposure skills are also required.
• Is motivated to the highest quality of care to all our patients in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Pay will depend on experience.

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift/8 or 6 hr shifts.
• 3.5-4 day work week.
• No nights.
• Half day Saturday shifts (7:30am-2pm)

Supplemental pay types:

• Incentive pay. When team members excel, they are celebrated, both by company-wide recognition and supplemental incentive pay tied to contribution.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred).

Experience:

• Veterinary technician: 1 year (Required)
