If you enjoy hands‑on veterinary medicine, building relationships with clients, supporting your doctors, and working with a team that shares your commitment to animal health, we'd love to meet you!

Put Your Veterinary Skills to Work

As a Veterinary Technician at Country Brook Animal Hospital, you’ll play an important role in providing high‑quality patient care and helping our veterinary team deliver a positive experience for pets and their families.

You’ll have the opportunity to use your clinical skills, support a variety of medical needs, and make a meaningful difference throughout the patient care process.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting veterinarians with physical examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
  • Collecting blood and other laboratory samples and performing in‑house laboratory testing.
  • Obtaining vital signs and monitoring patients throughout their visits.
  • Preparing patients for procedures and assisting with surgery and anesthesia monitoring, as appropriate to your training.
  • Administering medications and treatments as directed.
  • Providing compassionate, low‑stress patient handling.
  • Educating clients about medications, treatment plans, and preventive care.
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and patient documentation.
  • Keeping treatment areas, equipment, and the hospital clean, organized, and ready for patient care.
  • Communicating effectively with doctors, teammates, and clients to support excellent patient outcomes.

Bring Your Experience, Compassion, and Communication Skills
