VCA Madera Pet Hospital - Veterinary Assistant / Veterinary Technician

VCA Madera Pet Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant / Veterinary Technician to join our team! Located in Corte Madera, Marin County, CA, we are a multi-doctor practice. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience and will support our DVMs and Vet Tech team by fostering a positive, low-stress environment for clients and patients.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing compassionate care for patients
• Venipuncture
• IV catheter placement
• Hands-free radiography (patients sedated if needed)
• Bandage placement
• Maintaining medical records via EMR
• Patient restraint
• SQ, IM, IV injections
• Monitoring anesthesia and performing dental prophys/radiographs are a plus!

Compensation and Benefits

Pay ranges from $25.00 to $35.00 per hour, DOE. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, paid vacation (for F/T employees), 401(k), pet care discounts, and more.
