As a leader in pet health care, Encina Veterinary Hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment similar to those found in many human hospitals. Some of our services include: wellness exams, vaccinations, surgery, dentistry, advanced diagnostics such as ultrasonography, endoscopy, radiology (x-rays), 24 hour ICU and emergency care, and an in-house laboratory.

We are currently seeking experienced Veterinary Assistants to join our fast-paced team! You will have the opportunity to work alongside skilled technicians, DVMs, and board-certified specialists while providing the best medical care for our patients. Qualifications:

• 2 + year(s) as a veterinary assistant OR planning to take VTNE within 6 months of hiring.
• Ability to triage, assess, and examine critical patients.
• Phlebotomy, IV catheter placements.
• Radiology.
• RECOVER CPR certification preferred, but not required.
• Must be willing to learn and grow within your role.
