NYC Veterinary Group is seeking a veterinary technician to assist in animal restraint, triage, lab analysis, and diagnostic imaging. The role includes administering medications, communicating treatment plans to clients, and assisting in surgical preparation and anesthesia management.
Applicants should have 1+ year experience (CVT/RVT/LVT a plus) and strong customer service skills. Weekend availability is required; a positive work ethic and ability to grow professionally are essential.

Hours of Operation
Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Sunday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management.
Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.

Pay Range:$21-$26 depending on experience
