VCA Seaside Animal Hospital in Calabash, NC is seeking a Full Time Experienced Veterinary Assistant. The role requires surgical experience and credentialed veterinary technician status or active training, to join our AAHA-accredited GP practice.

VCA Seaside Animal Hospital in Calabash, NC is seeking a Full Time E xperienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team at our AAHA- accredited GP practice! Surgical experience required.

This is a excellent opportunity to use your skills working with a rapidly growing team of doctors and expand your knowledge in a well-reputed veterinary hospital. Our state of the art facility includes digital radiology-whole body and dental, cold laser therapy, ultrasonography, and a dedicated surgical suite. You will be challenged to grow and learn with a team that will fully support you along the way!

The ideal candidate is someone interested in career progression, will be a team player who is mature, dependable, positive multitasker with excellent communication and strong interest in becoming a leader. Prior experience in surgery, anesthesia, and nursing care is required. Experienced assistants are asked to think analytically through patient needs and the disease process in order to deliver the highest quality care.

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 / hr is based on skill set, experience, and licensure status
