Job summary

RESTORATION & PROTECTIVE SOLUTIONS in Punta Gorda, FL is seeking an experienced Vacuum Truck Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a CDL and have hands-on experience operating vacuum trucks and related equipment, with a strong commitment to safety.

You will perform sanitary sewer cleaning, stormwater maintenance, tank cleaning and waste removal, complete daily inspections and paperwork, and ensure compliance with DOT and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B.
• 3+ years of vacuum truck operating experience preferred.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor.
• Strong work ethic and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate vacuum trucks and hydro excavation equipment safely.
• Perform sanitary sewer cleaning, stormwater maintenance, tank cleaning, and waste removal services.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and required paperwork.
• Comply with all DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards.
• Assist field crews as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A or B.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating Vac-Con, Vactor, Camel, or similar combination sewer cleaning trucks.

• Experience cleaning manholes, lift stations, and stormwater systems.
• Knowledge of high-pressure water jetting equipment and sewer maintenance procedures.
