Experienced V-22 Aircraft Maintenance and Modification Technician

Join us at Boeing as an Experienced V-22 Aircraft Maintenance and Modification Technician supporting V-22 Maintenance & Modifications at MCAS Miramar, CA.

This position is 100% onsite, requiring the candidate to work at the listed location.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Work within MV-22 Modification & Maintenance Teams
  • Possess knowledge in V-22 aircraft maintenance, modification, and repair, particularly in Electrical, Avionics, or Airframes systems
  • Understand general aircraft maintenance and environment processes (FOD control, tool control, safety)
Your duties include:
  • Assembling, disassembling, and repairing assemblies by replacing aerospace components following maintenance practices and specifications
  • Replacing components for repair, testing, or support of product serviceability
  • Diagnosing and resolving routine problems during operation, maintenance, and overhaul
  • Coordinating assembly/disassembly/overhaul functions for accuracy and thoroughness
  • Performing functional/diagnostic tests, troubleshooting aerospace systems using monitoring and test equipment
  • Validating and verifying system and component serviceability
  • Isolating and fixing mechanical or electrical faults using established procedures
  • Documenting repairs, test results, modifications, and inspections accurately and thoroughly
  • Identifying discrepancies and assisting in their reconciliation
  • Inspecting components for cleanliness and serviceability before installation
  • Performing modifications to meet deliverable requirements

This role requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). The candidate must be willing to deploy/travel domestically and internationally up to 30%, often on short notice.
