Job summary

Jennmar Services is seeking experienced Underground Coal Miners for full-time roles in Harrison and Marion County, WV. Competitive pay at $27/hour with sign-on and retention bonus opportunities for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities include roof bolting, equipment operation, and general underground mining duties. Must hold WV Black Hat certification and be able to pass pre-employment screening and drug tests.

Qualifications

• Current West Virginia Experienced Underground Miner / Black Hat certification required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform physically demanding underground work.
• Ability to regularly lift 50–75 pounds throughout the shift.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry and work above shoulder/head level.
• Must successfully complete all required pre-employment screening.
• Drug and alcohol testing required.

• Steel sets.
• Overcasts.
• Jacks.
• Seal preparation.
• Pumpable cribs.
• Scoop operation.
• Roof bolting.
• Moving and handling underground supplies.
• Other underground mining duties as assigned.
