Job summary

Prep Academy Tutors seeks dedicated educators to provide private in-home and online tutoring across subjects. You will tailor instruction to individual learning needs and track progress with families, emphasizing understanding over memorization. Qualifications

• Current, valid registration with the Connecticut State Department of Education.
• Qualified teacher in the United States (or in the process of becoming one).
• Current teacher candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Education.
• Experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited U.S. or Canadian university.

Responsibilities

• Empower students with academic support based on the C curriculum.
• Develop customized learning plans that help students understand the material, not just memorize it.
• Offer remedial and enrichment opportunities to help students who need extra support or a challenge to stretch them.
• Collaborate with parents to keep them updated on progress, struggles, and successes.
