Job summary

Prep Academy Tutors invites energetic, enthusiastic educators to join our in-home and online tutoring team. We seek certified teachers or those on the path to certification who love teaching and strive for student success.

Qualifications

• Must hold current, valid registration with the Connecticut State Department of Education.
• Qualified teacher in the United States or in the process of becoming one.
• Current teacher candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Education.
• Experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited U.S. or Canadian university.

Responsibilities

• Empower students with academic support based on the curriculum.
• Develop customized learning plans that help students truly understand the material, not just memorize it.
• Offer remedial and enrichment opportunities to help students who need extra support—or a challenge to stretch them further.
• Collaborate with parents to keep them in the loop on progress, struggles, and successes.
