Job summary

FutureHire is seeking an experienced Turner to join our US-based team. You will operate turning machines, measure parts with precision, and ensure overall quality while adhering to safety procedures.

The position offers a monthly salary with accommodation included for out-of-state candidates. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of Turner experience, proficiency with lathes, grinders and drill presses, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Turner in a professional setting.
• Proficient in using turning tools and equipment such as lathes grinders and drill presses.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of different types of metals and their properties.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and protocols in a workshop setting.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate turning machines to cut shape or form metal parts according to specifications.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor machines during operation to identify any issues or malfunctions.
• Adjust machine settings when necessary for different materials or specifications.
• Maintain clean work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use.
