Fehr & Peers in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a Transportation Design Engineer to lead the design of transportation solutions tailored for communities. Your role will involve client engagement, engineering management, and mentoring colleagues while adhering to best practices.

As a Transportation Design Engineer, you will lead the evaluation, selection, and design of various transportation system solutions for different communities. You will be involved in generating conceptual designs and construction documents, collaborating with staff at all levels, conducting field work, coordinating closely with members of complete streets engineering and planning teams, engaging in discussions with clients and communities, and providing on‑the‑job training.
Your main focus will be to offer innovative and well‑thought‑out design solutions that align with client objectives and adhere to the latest best practices established by NACTO and similar organizations. Additionally, you will be responsible for project management, overseeing tasks, and assigning technical staff as necessary to deliver projects to clients.
