As an Experienced Transportation/Civil Engineer, you will lead the evaluation, selection, and design of various transportation system solutions for a range of communities. You will be involved in generating conceptual designs and construction documents, collaborating with staff at all levels while conducting field work, coordinating closely with members of complete streets engineering and planning teams, engaging in discussions with clients and communities, and on-the-job training. As a key contributor to our growing Petaluma office, your work will be focused on our continuing market presence in Marin and Sonoma counties, supporting San Francisco, San Mateo counties, and the broader Bay Area as opportunities arise.
Your focus will be to offer innovative and well-thought-out design solutions that align with client objectives and adhere to the latest best practices established by NACTO and similar organizations. Additionally, you will be responsible for project management, overseeing tasks, and assigning technical staff as necessary to deliver projects to clients.
