Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation in Cheswick, PA is seeking a Test Technician to join our Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location.

You will perform mechanical, electrical, hydrostatic, and gas leak tests in accordance with established procedures and specifications on stators, rotors, stators-windings, cans, jackets, thermal barriers, thermowells, casings, terminal boxes, pumps, and generators in support of our manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience with mechanical or electrical testing.
• Experience in electrical, electronic, mechanical fields, or equivalent.
• US citizens due to DoD requirements and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, hydrostatic, and gas leak tests per procedures on stators, rotors and related components.
• Install facility equipment and operate test systems after initial setup.
• Collect and summarize operational data, report deviations to Test Engineer or Supervisor.
