General Dynamics Electric Boat is seeking an experienced technical accountant to join our Accounting team. The ideal candidate will perform analyses of complex accounting patterns and document conclusions to ensure proper US GAAP compliance.

You will support monthly close, work on special projects, and collaborate with multiple departments across the organization. Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 842, plus proficiency in Excel and Word, are required to excel in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• CPA license.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Three or more years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with and detailed knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Detailed knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 842.
• Experience with writing technical accounting memoranda.
