Job summary

HoganTaylor LLP in Oklahoma City is seeking an Experienced Tax Staff to join our tax team. The role involves preparing federal and state returns for diverse clients and delivering proactive tax services.

You will develop research and planning skills, communicate results clearly, and support client goals while working with modern digital tools. Bachelor’s in accounting and 1–2 years of public accounting tax experience are preferred; CPA in progress is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university.
• Compliance with the 150-hour rule and/or CPA certification preferred or in progress.
• 1-2 years of public accounting experience in a tax role.
• Strong technical, research, organizational, and analytical skills with an eye for detail.
• Familiarity with paperless accounting systems and comfort working in a digital-first environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and other essential business applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a client-focused mindset.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university
