Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university.
  • CPA certification preferred (Enrolled Agent certification will also be considered).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in public accounting with a strong tax foundation.
  • Strong technical knowledge with research, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with paperless tax preparation and workflow systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and other business applications.
  • Clear, effective communication across teams and with clients.
  • Commitment to teamwork, mentorship, and leadership.

  • Be a Trusted Advisor & Collaborate with Clients; develop tax solutions.
  • Manage client relationships; analyze needs and represent clients before authorities.
  • Oversee tax preparation; review complex returns for quality and compliance.
  • Coach & mentor tax seniors, staff, and interns for growth.

  • Drive firm initiatives and participate in departmental projects.
  • Stay current with tax law and engage externally to expand the network.

What You’ll Do
  • Be a Trusted Advisor & Collaborate with Clients. Develop deep expertise in your specialty, maintain a broad understanding of tax concepts, understand client goals, and deliver proactive tax and business solutions.
  • Manage Client Relationships & Analyze Needs. Oversee complex engagements, conduct thorough analyses, and represent clients with integrity before taxing authorities.
  • Oversee Tax Preparation. Review and approve complex tax returns, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Coach & Mentor. Guide tax seniors, staff, and interns to ensure timely, accurate work and professional growth.
  • Grow Your Practice & Drive Business Development. Contribute to your niche or industry focus through practice development and execute personal marketing and client growth plans.
  • Drive Initiatives. Participate in firm and departmental projects to enhance the team and organization.
  • Stay Current & Engage Externally. Keep up with tax law and professional standards while expanding your network and elevating the profession through community and professional involvement.
What You Bring
  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university
  • CPA certification preferred (Enrolled Agent certification will also be considered)
