Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc. is seeking experienced tax preparers for in-person positions in Newport, TN. You will leverage your tax knowledge to prepare returns, connect with clients, and deliver exceptional service in a busy, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ seasons of experience completing individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Willingness to learn.
• Experience in accounting, finance, retail, bookkeeping or taxes is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client service in a fast-paced setting.
• Prepare and review individual, trust or partnership tax returns with accuracy.
• Engage with clients to understand needs and explain tax concepts clearly.
• Participate in training and development programs to stay current with tax laws.
