Job summary

Jackson Hewitt - Headquarters is seeking Experienced Tax Preparers for a seasonal role with flexible schedules and a fast-paced work environment. You will apply tax expertise, deliver excellent client service, and connect with clients in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications include 2+ seasons of tax prep and strong communication skills. Training is provided, with a $150 sign-on bonus and opportunities for advancement within the organization.

Qualifications

• 2+ seasons of tax preparation experience for individuals, trusts, and/or partnerships
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional customer service
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tax laws and procedures
• Experience in accounting, finance, retail, bookkeeping, or taxes is a plus
• Basic computer literacy needed to file returns and use tax software

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client service during tax season
• Assist clients with preparing and filing individual tax returns (and trusts/partnerships where applicable)
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of client information
• Keep up-to-date with current tax laws and software tools
