Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc. is hiring tax preparers in Beckley, WV. The role offers flexible schedules, opportunities to advance within the organization, and a signing bonus. You will prepare individual, trust, and/or partnership returns and deliver exceptional client service.

Compensation ranges from $13.00 to $15.00 per hour with a competitive bonus package; employees receive 401(k) matching, free tax training, and access to earnings tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ seasons of experience completing individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience in accounting, finance, retail, bookkeeping or taxes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns.
• Provide exceptional client service to Jackson Hewitt clients.
• Assist clients at a Jackson Hewitt location and address tax questions.
• Maintain accuracy and compliance with tax laws during preparation.
