Qualifications

• Culinary arts education and training is preferred.
• Cooking and sushi-making experience; minimum 2 years.
• Advanced fish butchery skills.
• Creation, manipulation, and review of recipes.
• Food handler's card required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they sit down.
• Prepare raw fish and other sushi ingredients.
• Roll and plate dishes, accommodating orders.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Coordinate with wait staff for efficient order flow.
• Regularly take kitchen inventory.
• Knowledgeable in ordering supplies.
• Organize and post staff schedules.
• Organize and revise prep for service.
• Communicate FOH items and specials clearly.
