St. Johns Ship Building, Inc. is seeking a skilled welder to join our shipyard team in Palatka, FL. Responsibilities include welding metal components for new builds and repairs in flat, vertical, and overhead positions, while upholding safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will read drawings, prepare surfaces, select proper welding methods, and inspect finished work for defects. AWS certification is required within 60 days of hire.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months to one year of related welding experience.
• Must pass AWS certification within the first 60 days on the job.

• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
