Heritage Medical Associates in Nashville, TN is seeking an Ultrasound Sonographer to perform imaging procedures and assist the Radiologist, while delivering exceptional patient care.

You will prepare patients, operate ultrasound equipment, document findings, and help maintain clean, organized exam rooms and accurate medical records.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Ultrasonography program, ARDMS certification, and a minimum of 3 years experience with vascular imaging.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasonography Program.
• ARDMS certification required.
• Maintain licensure by completing 30 ultrasound related CME credits every 3 years.
• Minimum 3 years experience and Vascular Registry Required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs all Ultrasound procedures.
• If in a float position, must be available to work at any of HMA’s Imaging locations.
• Adheres to Ultrasound quality control standards.
• Management of Imaging records.
• Triage patients to ensure productive departmental flow.
• Record health history of patients; note abnormal conditions for physician; prepare patients for exams and procedures.
• Maintain adequate stock levels of supplies.
• Set up and stock exam rooms for daily use; keep rooms and equipment clean between procedures.
• Follow clinic policies for infection control in handling and disposing of infectious/hazardous waste materials.
• Adhere to Quality Control Guidelines.
• Adhere to Service Standards.
• Perform other tasks as needed.
• Must have predictable and consistent attendance
