The Installer is an essential part of Green Power Energy's Field Operations team. As an Installer, each employee works with the latest solar technology, builds relationships with team members, and completes the installation of our products safely and on time. Green Power Energy seeks candidates with 2+ years of installation experience who are passionate about learning basic energy system construction, terminology, and concepts. This is an hourly position requiring outdoor work in extreme environments, at heights, and involving prolonged periods of repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing.

Responsibilities

1. Load job components for the project
2. Assemble solar modules/arrays and mounting hardware
3. Mechanically/structurally mount racking, modules, and electrical equipment
4. Attend training sessions on new products, installation methods, and safety protocols
5. Assist Lead Installers with daily projects
6. Unload and carry materials at construction sites

Requirements

• 2+ years of installation experience
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Ability to read instructions
• Excellent spoken and written English skills
• Good balance and eye-hand coordination
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Construction experience is a plus
• Electrical experience is a plus
