Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at the time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a Software Engineer for Tactical Control Systems (TCS), you’ll be part of a cross-functional team responsible for research, design, development, and testing of software and tools. This includes developing new work products or enhancing existing applications, systems, or embedded products, which may involve coding, testing, and documenting software solutions to advance our technology.

Preferred skills and experiences include: Kubernetes/RKE2, Linux (RHEL), C++, Java, JavaScript (especially React), Python, and Helm.

Workplace Options: This position is on-site with some flexibility. While on-site, work will be based at the Ashton Road facility in Manassas.

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range based on experience and other factors such as location. The actual pay may vary. The posting remains open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $105,000.00 - USD $115,000.00 per year.
