Tecta America New England is seeking experienced sheet metal roofers in Brockton, MA for full-time, year-round work with opportunities for career advancement.

Starting pay is $30-40 per hour, BOE, plus a sign-on bonus of $750. Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance, PTO, holidays, 401(k) with company match, and ongoing in-house safety and career-growth training.

Qualifications

• Sheet metal roofing installation experience required.
• Commercial roofing experience preferred but we will train the right individuals.
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs regularly, 50+ lbs occasionally.
• Outdoor setting with varying weather conditions.
• Bending, kneeling, climbing ladders expected.
• Follow instructions and safety guidelines; maintain professionalism.
• Reliable transportation to and from jobsites/warehouse.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Installation of roofing-related sheet metal systems, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
• Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company safety policies at all times.
• Review completed work to ensure watertight installations and adherence to manufacturer requirements and warranty standards.
• Maintain clean and orderly workspace.
• Prolonged periods of lifting, reaching and working on scaffolding and overhead structures when necessary.

Sheet Metal Roofer Summary:

Sheet Metal Roofer Requirements:

• Sheet metal roofing installation experience required
• Commercial roofing experience preferred but we will train the right individuals!
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs. regularly, 50+ lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to work in an outdoor setting, with varying weather conditions.
• Bending, kneeling, climbing ladders all expected activities.
• Ability to follow instructions, perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines, and maintain a strong level of professionalism.
• Reliable transportation to and from jobsites/warehouse.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Working Conditions:

• Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure to heights, noise and temperature.
• Physical Effort: Extensive standing, walking, climbing ladders. Frequent lifting, etc
• Travel: Mostly local; within 1 hour
