Tecta America New England in Portland, ME is looking for entry-level roofers for production crews. We offer full-time, year-round work, career advancement opportunities, and great benefits.

Pay starts at $22+ per hour, DOE, with a sign-on bonus up to $1,500. Training will be provided for the right individuals; safety and career growth are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Commercial roofing or construction experience preferred; training provided.
• Must be able to lift 25+ lbs regularly and 50+ lbs occasionally.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation to jobsites.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Adherence to safety guidelines and job specifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair EPDM, TPO, and PVC roofing systems.
• Work under the Foreman's direction on job sites.
• Follow project specifications and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team to complete roofing tasks efficiently.

Pay starting at $22+/hr. BOE

This range represents a good faith estimate for the position and actual compensation will be based on numerous factors including knowledge, skills, training and experience. This position may also be eligible for bonuses, benefits and other forms of compensation

Commercial Roofer Summary:

Under the direction of the crew’s Foreman, Commercial Roofers are responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all types of commercial roofing systems including EPDM, TPO & PVC.

Commercial Roofer Requirements:

• Commercial roofing or construction experience preferred but we will train the right individuals!


• Ability to lift 25+ lbs. regularly, 50+ lbs. occasionally.


• Ability to work in an outdoor setting, with varying weather conditions.


• Bending, kneeling, climbing ladders all expected activities.


• Ability to follow instructions, perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines, and maintain a strong level of professionalism.


• Reliable transportation to and from jobsites/warehouse.


• Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills.


• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Working Conditions:

• Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure to heights, noise and temperature.


• Physical Effort: Extensive standing, walking, climbing ladders. Frequent lifting, etc.


• Travel: Mostly local; within 1 hour
