Position Overview:
As a Sheet Metal Installer, you will:
- Install custom-fabricated sheet metal roofing, gutters, flashing, and architectural details.
- Work on a variety of historical buildings, ensuring precision and adherence to preservation standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to execute plans on time and within budget.
- Travel to job sites nationwide to work on unique and challenging restoration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, shape, and install sheet metal components with precision and care.
- Safely work at heights on scaffolding, ladders, and aerial lifts.
- Handle and install specialty materials such as copper, stainless steel, and zinc.
- Ensure all installations meet historical preservation guidelines and project specifications.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean job site.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sheet metal installation, especially roofing, gutters, and flashing systems.
- Familiarity with materials like copper, steel, and aluminum.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.

- Competitive pay: $25.00 hourly to $45.00 hourly based on skillset and experience
