• Starting salary of the Mid $30.00 per hour depending on experience

The hours and location you’ll work in as a Sr. Diesel Mechanic with WM:

• Monday – Friday every week
• Start at 6:30am - 3:30pm
• No weekends
• We’re committed to offering you stable hours for the financial security and work life balance you need.
• The normal setting for this job is a repair / maintenance shop at our Sun Prairie, WI hauling site.

Job responsibilities include:

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
• Estimate time and material costs on repairs.
• Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
• Respond to emergency breakdowns.
• Conduct safety checks and complete paperwork.
• Assist senior Mechanics and review/complete repairs on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.

Minimum requirements:

• 4 years of relevant work experience
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Over 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Ability to perform physical tasks with or without accommodations
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and physical

Work environment and physical demands:
