Job summary

Pavion is seeking a Security Installation Technician in New Haven, CT to join our security business unit. You will install and maintain security systems, coordinate with customers, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

Qualified candidates will have a CT electrical license, OSHA 10, and at least 5 years in security integration. We offer competitive compensation and opportunities for growth at Pavion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a technician in the security integration industry.
• Valid State of CT Electrical Limited Journeyperson Low Voltage license.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• OSHA 10 certification.

Responsibilities

• Install all systems offered by Pavion.
• Maintain systems supported.
• Navigate online service programs.
• Coordinate tools and materials to complete work on time and within budget.
• Provide customer relations.
• Train fellow employees.
• Handle daily installation work and project coordination with customers.
• Participate in on-call service rotation.
• Qualifier for our security licenses.
• Work with Operations on other duties as directed.
• Interpret shop drawings for project scope.
• Inspection and service.
• Collaborate with fellow technicians.
• Daily working hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm.
