Securitas USA is hiring an Experienced Security Officer for full-time positions in Salt Lake City, UT, with wage range $19.50-$21.50 per hour. Duties include monitoring premises, enforcing site regulations, conducting patrols, and assisting client employees and visitors.

Requirements include 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma or GED, strong customer service and leadership skills, and the ability to work independently while staying calm under pressure.

Experienced Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Wage Range: $19.50-$21.50/HR

Pay and schedule are dependent on location.

Openings at various locations with various schedules available.

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client's employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• 1 year of Security experience required.
